Files are listed most recent first, and both name and size are provided. Click on a file and open it. You can authorize your client to add and remove files as well.
Fred is managing a construction project, and goes to the job site. He has a digital camera, and takes pictures of the work in progress. Visiting with the engineer, he is promised a report that afternoon. He talks to the City Arborist who mentions the disputed stand of brush. Fred makes note of it, and takes a photo of that as well. The Arborist promises to send a note detailing her concerns.
Back at his desk, Fred plugs his camera into his computer and transfers the photos to his computer. He pulls email, which includes the promised reports, and receives more questions regarding an upcoming meetings. He updates his notes on the project software they use, and generates a new set of reports.
Now it's time to let everyone know the latest.
Fred logs into Project ServiceNet and selects the 'upload' option. He finds the photos and reports he wants to send out, and uploads them. In several minutes, all the photos and files have been uploaded.
Opening his email program, he creates a new email message and sends a note to 18 people. Mary is on this distro.
"All,
I visited the job site, and have notes from the engineer and the arborist along with a dozen pictures, some notes, and the presentation for our meeting tomorrow. Visit www.ProjectServiceNet.com and login to see them."
Mary, who is on her way to visit with the investors, checks her email at the hotel and sees Fred's short note.
She logs in and reviews Fred's status report and meeting notes. She double checks an item from last weeks report at the same time. She will review the pictures and presentation later from a fast internet connection, since she sees the photos are 3MB each, and the meeting presentation is another 15MB. She says to herself
"This saves me a ton of time. I wish everyone did it this way."
